Alta, UT (PRWEB) November 1, 2006 -- AltaCam, an online community for Alta skiers, announced today the beginning of their photo of the month contest. Each month contest participants can submit digital or print ski photos for a chance of getting their winning image published on the site and a Backcountry.com gift certificate for gear.
"We're all Alta junkies over here so it's exciting for us at Backcountry.com to sponsor the Pic of the Month Contest on AltaCam," says Dustin Robertson, Vice President of Marketing for Backcountry.com. "Since we have the same Little Cottonwood Canyon skiing background as the guys from AltaCam, this is a natural fit," he adds.
AltaCam's management will select the top three photos and post them in the Alta Skiing Forum for a community vote on Monday, November 27th. Voting will be open from midnight the 27th until midnight the 30th. The photo with the most votes after polls close will be declared the winner.
The rules are simple. Email or send photo submissions to AltaCam by Friday, November 24th at midnight MST. Both prints and digital photos will be accepted. To have photo prints returned, include a self-addressed stamped envelope. For more information, additional contests guidelines, and details on where to send photo submissions visit the Pic of the Month Contest page on AltaCam.com.
